We present both emerging artists and touring professional musicians. Emerging artists perform in an annual showcase that we call Intimate Acoustics and will be considered on the basis of their electronic or other submissions (please send to info@st-lawrencestage.com). We are interested primarily in acoustic performances of original songs. Decisions on emerging artists are usually made one to two months in advance of our emerging artist lineups and will involve up to six artists and/or bands. Due to the high volume of submissions, we are able to contact only successful applicants.
Touring professional musicians who appear as headliners or openers have almost always been seen in a live performance setting by at least one of our board members before they are booked, we do not make decisions on these shows on the basis of an electronic submission alone. These shows are also usually booked between six months to a full year in advance of scheduled dates. This means, unfortunately, that we are not in a position to offer last minute shows to touring artists coming through our area (no matter how much we love your sound!).
